Over time, Jean Grey has become Xavier’s most trusted pupils, constantly acting as his right hand and close friend. She first ascended as the Phoenix after experiencing death. Corrupted by the Hellfire Club, she was distorted into Dark Phoenix and caused immeasurable destruction.
