It was a typical morning for the Beast. As one of the founding members of the uncanny X-Men, Dr. Henry “Hank” McCoy began his day exercising in the X-Men’s high-tech training facility, the Danger Room. But his daily regimen soon turned into a precarious situation as one of the Danger Room’s standard practice drones made a startling transformation. Before his very eyes Beast saw the drone morph from a battle tank into something organic — something alive! “Oh my stars and garters,” said the mutant scientist as he vaulted over his mysterious adversary with his usual grace and finesse. “Either the Danger Room’s on the fritz… or Mama McCoy’s blue-furred boy better call for reinforcements!”
